October 22, 2018: Port of Houston – Barbours Cut and Dredging
Mark Vincent, Director of Channel Development for the Port of Houston Authority, will present an update on the Barbours Cut Container Terminal expansion. He also will report on dredging in the Houston Ship Channel, including budget, deepening and widening of channels, deposition of dredge materials (both beneficial uses and storage areas), and the impacts of Harvey on dredging projects. He also will share POHA’s thoughts on the Coastal Spine project.
